Manifold Pressure/Vacuum Sensor: Service and Repair

MAP Sensor Service:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the bolts / screws (2).
3. Remove the electrical connector.
4. Remove the inlet vacuum hose.
5. Remove the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor from the bracket

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. Installation the inlet vacuum hose.
2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Position the MAP sensor to bracket and drive bolt/screws (2) securely seated and not stripped.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
