Inflator Module - Replacement

Inflator Module:

Steering Wheel:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Disable SIR system. Refer to DISABLING THE SIR SYSTEM.
2. Two screws from the back of the steering wheel using a #30 TORX(r) driver.
3. Connector Position Assurance (CPA) clip and electrical connection from rear of inflator module.
4. Inflator Module.


INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Connector Position Assurance (CPA) clip and electrical connection to inflatable restraint steering wheel module.
2. Inflatable module to steering wheel and two screws through back of steering wheel.
^ Tighten screws to 10 Nm (89 in lb).
3. Enable SIR system. Refer to ENABLING THE SIR SYSTEM.
