DRIVER OR PASSENGER SEAT RECLINER REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Remove the outer seat adjuster trim cover.
2. Remove the recliner handle.
3. Remove the recliner cover.
4. Remove the inertia latch from the recliner assembly.
5. Remove the recliner assembly bolts.
6. Disconnect the cable from the seat adjuster, E-Z seat only.






7. Remove the recliner assembly from the seat.


INSTALLATION PROCEDURE






1. Install the recliner assembly to the seat.
2. Connect the cable to the seat adjuster.
3. Install the recliner assembly to the seat frame bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).

4. Install the inertia latch.
5. Install the recliner trim cover to the seat.
6. Install the recliner handle.
7. Install the outer seat adjuster trim cover E-Z entry seat only.
