Console Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Console Replacement: Front Floor - Removal Procedure:

1. Open the front floor console storage a compartment lid.
2. Remove the mat from the floor of the console storage compartment.
3. Remove the front floor console trim plate.

Console Replacement: Front Floor - Removal Procedure:

4. Remove the bolts retaining the floor shift control trim plate.
5. Reposition the floor shift control trim plate.
6. Remove the bolts retaining the console at the front, behind the shift control at the floor and in the storage compartment floor.
7. Carefully slide the front floor console rearward, then remove the console.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Console Replacement: Front Floor - Installation Procedure:

1. Carefully install the front floor console into position.
2. Install the front floor console retaining bolts at the front of the console, behind the shift control at the floor and in the storage compartment floor.

Tighten
Tighten the front floor console retaining bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

3. Install the shift control trim plate into position.

Console Replacement: Front Floor - Installation Procedure:

4. Install the floor shift control trim plate retaining bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the floor shift control trim plate retaining bolts to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

5. Install the front floor console trim plate.
6. Install the mat to the floor of the console storage compartment.
7. Close the front floor console storage compartment lid.
