Traction Control Switch: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURETraction Control Switch Replacement: Removal Procedure:
1. Open the front floor console storage compartment door.
2. Ensure that the front cup holder is in the open position.
3. Remove the bolts retaining the front floor console trim plate.
4. Carefully lift to release the console trim plate.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the traction control switch.
Traction Control Switch Replacement: Removal Procedure:
6. Depress the retaining tabs on the underside of the traction control switch, then remove the switch from the trim plate.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
Traction Control Switch Replacement: Installation Procedure:
1. Align the traction control switch to the front floor console trim plate then press into place to secure.
Traction Control Switch Replacement: Installation Procedure:
2. Connect the electrical connector to the traction control switch.
3. Install the console trim plate to the console.
4. Install the front floor console trim plate retaining screws.
Tighten
Tighten the front floor console trim plate retaining screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
5. Close the front cup holder.
6. Close the front floor console storage compartment door.
