Flex Plate: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the torque converter cover(s).
3. Remove the flywheel to torque converter bolt(s).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the flywheel to torque converter bolt(s).
^ Tighten the flywheel to torque converter bolt(s) to 63 Nm (47 lb ft).

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the torque converter cover(s).
3. Lower the vehicle.
