LH Front Window Switch Operation

With the ignition switch in ACCY, RUN, or during Retained Accessory Power (RAP), battery voltage is applied to the POWER WDO/SUNROOF RELAY coil in the IP Junction Block from CKT 43. The relay is permanently grounded on the coil side. The coil is energized, the switch closes, and battery voltage is then applied to LH Front Power Window Switch.

Battery voltage is applied to the window motor when any UP switch in the LH Front Power Window Switch not associated with express down is operated. The window motor is grounded through the DOWN contact in the LH Front Power Window Switch. The motor runs to drive the window up. Battery voltage is applied to the window motor in the opposite direction when any DOWN switch in the LH Front Power Window Switch is operated. The window motor is grounded through the UP contact in the LH Front Power Window Switch. The motor runs to drive the window down.
