Throttle Position (TP) Sensor Removal

REMOVAL PROCEDURE





1. Remove the fuel injection sight shield. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement Service and Repair.




2. Remove the manifold vacuum lines from the throttle body.




3. Remove the Idle Air Control (IAC) Valve electrical connector from the IAC valve.

MAF Sensor Electrical Connector:

4. Remove the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector from the MAF sensor.




5. Remove the Throttle Position (TP) sensor electrical connector from the TP sensor.

TP Sensor Screws:

6. Remove the two TP sensor attaching screws from the throttle body.




7. Remove the TP sensor from the throttle body.
