Power Window Switch: Service and Repair
Rear Door Power Window Switch ReplacementREMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the lower closeout cover retaining screws.
2. Remove the lower closeout cover.
Pry upward with a flat-bladed tool.
3. Disengage the retaining clips and remove the rear door power switch bezel assembly from the vehicle.
4. Disengage the rear door power window switch retainers.
5. Remove the rear door power window switch from the bezel assembly.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the electrical connector.
2. Install the rear door power window switch to the bezel assembly.
Ensure the retainers lock into place.
3. Install the rear door power switch bezel assembly to the vehicle.
Ensure the retainers lock into place.
4. Install the lower closeout cover. Ensure the retainers lock into place.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
5. Install the lower closeout cover retaining bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the lower closeout cover retaining bolts to 2.5 N.m (55 lb in).
