Console Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the shifter trim plate.
2. Remove the nuts (3) and the bolts (2).
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors (1) from the console (4).
4. Remove the extension retaining hook.
5. Remove the console (4).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the console (4) to the vehicle.
2. Install the extension retaining hook.
3. Connect the electrical connectors (1) to the console (4).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Install the console to IP fasteners.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).

5. Install the console to shifter bracket fasteners.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

6. Install the console to floor pan fasteners.

Tighten
Tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

7. Install the shifter trim plate.
