Cruise Control Servo Cable: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the injector sight shield if necessary.

IMPORTANT: Remember the cable routing for the replacement procedure.

2. Disconnect the cruise control cable (1) from the following components:
^ The TBI cam
^ The throttle body bracket




3. Remove the cruise control cable (2) from the cruise control module (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the cruise control cable (2) to the cruise control module (1).




2. Connect the cruise control cable (1) to the following components:
^ The TBI cam
^ The throttle body bracket
3. Adjust the cable. Refer to Cruise Control Cable Adjustment Adjustments.
4. Install the injector sight shield it necessary.
