Blower Motor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the right side sound insulator
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor.
3. Remove the cooling tube from the blower motor.
4. Remove the screws that attach the blower motor to the heater and A/C module assembly.
5. Remove the blower motor and the fan.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Install the blower motor to the heater and A/C module assembly using the attaching screws.

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 1.4 N.m (12 lb in).

2. Install the cooling tube to the blower motor.
3. Connect the electrical connector to the blower motor.
4. Install the right side sound insulator.
