Programmer Replacement





REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the right sound insulator.
3. Remove the IP compartment.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the programmer.
5. Remove the retaining tabs from the programmer.
6. Remove the programmer.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: After replacing the programmer, recalibrate the actuators for proper travel. Cycle the ignition ON for 3 minutes in order to allow the programmer and the actuator to recalibrate for proper travel.

1. Install the programmer into the retainer on the bracket.
2. Connect the electrical connectors to the programmer.
3. Install the I/P compartment.
4. Install the right sound insulator.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
6. Recalibrate the actuators.
