Power Window Motor: Service and Repair




REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the door trim panel.
2. Remove the water deflector.
3. Mark all of the in-out adjustments.
4. Loosen the adjusters. Refer to Window Adjustment - Door or Window Adjustment - Rear Door Adjustments
5. Disconnect the electrical connector (5).
6. Remove the motor attachment nuts (3).
7. Push the module fully outboard in order to allow removal of the motor (4).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the motor (4).
2. Install the motor attachment nuts (3).
3. Connect the electrical connector (5).
4. Adjust the glass. Refer to Window Adjustment - Door or Window Adjustment - Rear Door Adjustments
5. Install the water deflector.
6. Install the door trim panel.
