Driver Door Ajar Switch

Range: Yes/No
The BCM uses this input in order to determine the whether the driver door is opened or closed. The input is received by the BCM and is used to power-up the BCM from a low power mode. This condition must be detected when the ignition ON power is inactive (Off).

The BCM also sends the information out on the SPI bus to the instrument cluster in order to light the instrument cluster and light the door ajar symbol Indicator. When the door is open, ON is displayed. When the door is closed, OFF is displayed.
