Lamp Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.
3. Remove the left sound insulator.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector.
5. Remove the bolts from the dimmer module (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

1. Install the bolts to the dimmer module (1).

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Install the left sound insulator.
4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
