Park Brake Switch

Range: Yes/No
The BCM uses this input in order to determine whether the parking brake is engaged. The input is received by the BCM and is sent out on the SPI bus to the instrument cluster in order to light the brake Indicator.

The BCM also sends information out on the class 2 serial data line for use by other modules. When the parking brake is engaged, YES is displayed. When the parking brake is not engaged, OFF is displayed.
