Mirrors: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the front door inner trim panel.
2. Disconnect the mirror electrical connector.

IMPORTANT: Support the mirror.

3. Remove the nuts from the mirror.
4. Remove the mirror from the door.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the mirror to the door.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the nuts on the outside mirror studs.
Start with the lower left nut and proceed in a clockwise direction.

Tighten
Tighten the outside mirror nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

3. Install the mirror electrical connector.
4. Install the front door inner trim panel.
