Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Service and Repair






IAT SENSOR REPLACEMENT

The intake air temperature (IAT) sensor (3) is mounted in the rear air intake duct (2).

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the IAT sensor electrical connector.
3. Use a twisting and pulling motion in order to remove the IAT sensor (3).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Insert the IAT sensor (3) into the rear air intake duct (2).
2. Connect the IAT sensor electrical connector.
3. Connect the negative battery cable.
