Generator Brace Replacement (Rear)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield.
2. Disconnect the vacuum booster hose.
3. Remove the rear generator brace-to-generator bracket bolts.
4. Remove the rear generator brace bolt from the generator.
5. Remove the rear generator brace.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the generator rear brace.
2. Install the rear generator brace bolt through the rear generator brace to the generator.
3. Install the rear generator brace-to-generator bracket bolts through the rear generator brace and into the generator bracket.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Tighten the rear generator brace bolt to the generator.

Tighten
Tighten the rear generator brace bolt to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

5. Tighten the rear generator brace-to-generator bracket bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the rear generator brace-to-generator bracket bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

6. Connect the vacuum booster hose.
7. Install the fuel injector sight shield.
