Brake Caliper Bracket Replacement


Removal Procedure

Important: Remove the caliper bracket only under the following circumstances:
^ The caliper bracket is damaged.
^ You are removing the rotor for refinishing or other service.





1. Remove the brake pads. Refer to Brake Pads Replacement- Rear.





2. Remove the caliper bracket mounting bolts.





3. Remove the caliper bracket.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the caliper bracket.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





2. Install the caliper bracket mounting bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the anchor bracket mounting bolts to 70 Nm (52 lb ft).





3. Install the brake pads. Refer to Brake Pads Replacement- Rear.
