Heating and Air Conditioning: Service Precautions
CAUTION:^ To help avoid personal injury, always use jack stands when you are working on or under any vehicle that is supported only by a jack.
^ To avoid any vehicle damage, serious personal injury or death when major components are removed from the vehicle and the vehicle is supported by a hoist, support the vehicle with jack stands at the opposite end from which the components are being removed.
^ To avoid personal injury when rotating the serpentine belt tensioner on 2.4L use a tight fitting 13 mm wrench that is at least 61 centimeters (24 inches) long. This operation can be done using a J 37059 or equivalent.
^ Do not operate the detector In a combustible atmosphere since its sensor operates at high temperatures or personal injury and/or damage to the equipment may result.
