Generator Bracket Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the generator.
2. Remove the bolts from the bracket.
3. Remove the bracket.
4. Remove the lift bracket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the lift bracket and the bracket to the cylinder head

IMPORTANT: Hold the bolts in position against the cylinder head when tightening other bracket bolts.

2. Hand tighten the bolts in sequence.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install bolts to bracket.

Tighten
Tighten the generator bracket bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

4. Install the generator.
