Primary Camshaft Drive Chain Guide Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the front cover.
2. Remove the 2 bolts attaching the primary camshaft drive chain guide (1) to the engine block.
3. Remove the primary camshaft drive chain guide (1).

Installation Procedure

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





1. Install the primary camshaft drive chain guide (1) and retaining bolts.
^ Tighten the primary camshaft drive chain guide bolts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
2. Install the front cover.
