Disassembly Procedure





1. Remove the seal from the main drive gear bearing retainer. Pry the seal out with a small pry bar or the equivalent.
2. Clean the seal bore.

Assembly Procedure

Important: When installing the input shaft bearing retainer oil seal, ensure the lip of the oil seal is installed toward the installing tool.





1. Install the oil seal into the main drive gear bearing retainer using a suitable installing tool.
2. Ensure the seal is fully seated.
