(Reprogram ATCM)

with All-Wheel Drive and 4.2L Engine (VIN S - RPO LL8)
Built Prior to VIN Breakpoint 22239887

Condition

Some customers may comment on a bump or noise when accelerating from a stop. Also, customers may comment on a surge condition under moderate to hard acceleration while the vehicle is in first gear.

Correction

Reprogram the ATC Active Transfer Case Module with the appropriate calibration from the table below.

The calibration listed is an electronic calibration and is NOT available from GMSPO. Calibrations will be available from Techline starting September 2001, on the TIS 2000 version TIS 10/2001 data update or later.
