Body Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the left instrument panel (IP) insulator.
3. Disconnect the BCM electrical connectors.
4. Remove the BCM by pushing the BCM up and pulling the bottom out of the mounting bracket slot.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the BCM by pushing the top of the BCM up into the mounting bracket. Then, while holding the BCM up, engage the bottom into the mounting bracket slot.
2. Connect the BCM electrical connectors.
3. Install the left IP insulator.
4. Connect the battery ground cable.
5. Set up the BCM. Refer to Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration. Programming and Relearning
