Lock Cylinder Replacement - Rear Compartment Lid (Oldsmobile)

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the rear compartment lid applique.
2. Disconnect the lock cable. Spread the plastic lock cylinder housing and pull down.




3. Drill out the lock rivets.
4. Remove the lock cylinder.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the lock cylinder in the rear compartment lid.




2. Install new rivets.




3. Connect the lock cable by pressing the cable onto the lock cylinder.
4. Install the rear compartment lid applique.
