Theft Deterrent Exciter Module Replacement

THEFT DETERRENT EXCITER MODULE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the ignition lock cylinder.
2. Remove the reader/exciter from the ignition lock cylinder housing (4).
2.1. Release the clips (1, 2)
2.2. Slide the reader/exciter off the lock cylinder. Clip (2) may tend to catch on the illumination ring and need to be unhooked.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Slide the reader/exciter onto the ignition lock cylinder housing (4).
2. Install the ignition lock cylinder.
