Intake Manifold

Install the lower intake manifold.

Notice: Failure to tighten vertical bolts before the diagonal bolts may cause an oil leak.

Apply sealant GM P/N United States 12345382, GM P/N Canada 10953489 to the threads of the bolts.

Install the lower intake manifold bolts.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown.
Tighten the lower intake manifold vertical bolts to 7 Nm (62 inch lbs.).
Tighten the lower intake manifold diagonal bolts to 13 Nm (115 inch lbs.).
