Wiper Arm: Service and Repair

WIPER ARM REPLACEMENT - REAR

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Disconnect the washer hose (4).
2. Remove the wiper arm cover (2).
3. Remove the nut (3) retaining the wiper arm to the motor shaft.
4. Remove the wiper arm from the motor shaft.
5. Remove the wiper arm blade from the wiper arm, if necessary.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the wiper arm blade to the wiper arm, if removed.




2. Position the wiper arm into the park ramp.
3. Install the wiper arm onto the motor shaft with the nut (3).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the nut (3) to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

4. Install the wiper arm cover (2).
5. Connect the washer hose (4).
