DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK - ACCESSORY DELAY MODULE

DIAGNOSTIC AIDS
The BCM monitors the RAP relay control circuit. The BCM sets the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) 004 when detecting the following conditions:
- A short to B+ in the relay control circuit
- A short to ground in the relay control circuit

If the power windows operate properly under RAP conditions and the Radio or VIU do not operate properly, the condition exists in the class 2 circuit of the Radio, VIU or IPC. Refer to Scan Tool Does Not Communicate with Class 2 Device in Data Link Communications. Testing and Inspection
