Engine Control Module: Description and Operation

The ECU is mounted behind the glove box on the passenger side. It monitors signals from various sensors, Fig. 1, and controls the frequency valve based on the signals it receives. The ECU should be removed from the car when any electrical welding is to be performed, or when the car is to be placed in a paint oven.
