1.
Adjust the test electrodes 10mm apart,

Start the test bench.
3.
Make sure that the spark is steady at all rpm.
4.
If spark is unsatisfactory, repeat the test using an new
distributor, a new coil, then a new amplifier module by process of elimination.
5.
Replace the defective component.
