Fig. 7 Throttle Plate Housing:

1. Disconnect the connector.
2. Install an ohmmeter between the two terminals on the switch, Fig. 7.
3. Loosen the locknut and turn screw to obtain a resistance of less than one ohm.
4. Coat the threads with normal holding Loctite.
5. Tighten the locknut.
6. Check the operation of the throttle flap.
7. Check that the resistance goes from infinity to one ohm or less when the throttle flap is against its stop.
