Ignition System: Description and Operation
To optimize fuel injection and ignition, both systems are controlled by a single electronic control unit (ECU). Input signals provided to the ECU by the various sensors are used for both ignition control and fuel injection.Refer to the COMPUTERIZED ENGINE CONTROLS for description and operation of the Motronic Engine Management System.
