1. Connect voltmeter to UB terminals (14) of tester, Fig. 7.
2. Measure and record battery voltage. Multiply battery voltage by 0.166.
3. Compare result with Fig. 9. Allow a 0.1 volt tolerance.
4. Connect a voltmeter on terminals (15) of tester.
5. Position potentiometer to obtain UR voltage previously calculated, then lock adjusting screws (16).
