1. Turn crankshaft until piston of No. 1 cylinder is at top dead center of compression stroke.
2. Remove parts in numerical order as shown in Fig. 11.

3. Reverse procedure to install. Before assembly, apply engine oil to inside diameter of rocker arm. Install rocker arm shaft with oil holes facing downward. End of shaft with one oil hole is front end. Apply sealant to areas shown in Fig. 12. Torque rocker arm cover bolts to 4-5 ft. lbs.
