Glow Plug Relay: Testing and Inspection

GLOW PLUG

Check resistance between glow plug terminal and body, resistance should be 0.1 ohm at 68°F.

GLOW PLUG RELAY

Connect 6 volt power source to relay coil terminal and check for continuity between relay B terminals. Continuity should exist, if not, replace relay.

DROPPING RESISTOR

Connect ohmmeter between dropping resistor terminals and note reading. Resistance should be 130M-ohms.
