FIGURE 1:

This bulletin describes the method for correct identification of fuel injectors and mixers used on subject model vehicles since the start of 1984 production (Figure 1).

The nozzle diameter of the injector differs according to the model and type of engine.. Should a wrong injector be used in the injector mixer, it will severely affect engine performance and driveability.

FIGURE 2:

Reference should be made to the identification code stamped on the injector whenever it is inspected or replaced to avoid injector mixing. The injector can be identified using the code stamped on its body as illustrated in Figure 2.
