Disconnect harness connector at resistor located near
ignition coil,

Measure resistance across terminals 1 and 2, then 1 and 3. Resistance should read approximately as shown,
Fig. 20. If resistor reads 0 ohms or infinity, replace resistor.
3.
Install resistor, then firmly connect connector.
