Fig. 5 Typical fuel filter replacement:
1. Release pressure from fuel system as previously described.
2. Remove filter bracket attaching nuts, Fig. 5.
3. Loosen fuel line clamps, then disconnect fuel lines at filter. Wrap a clean towel around fuel lines to prevent leakage of residual fuel.
4. Remove filter assembly from vehicle.
5. Reverse procedure to install, using new clamps. Torque clamps to 10 inch lbs.
