A. Install VECI Correction Label

1. Raise the hood and locate the VECI label on the underside of the hood panel.

2. Clean the surface of the existing incorrect label and apply the owner supplied correction label directly over the corresponding area as shown in Figure 1.

Important: Be sure that the new label part number corresponds to the number listed in the Parts section of this letter for the involved engine type.

B. Install Recall Completion Label

1. With a ball point pen, print your dealer code (5 digits) on the supplied Recall Completion Label.

2. Peel the label from its backing and apply it near the Vehicle Emission Control Information Label.
