Remove/Install Snap Ring:
Remove/Install 5th Fork Set Screw:
CAUTION: Mark the synchronizer sleeve and hub for reassambly.
Remove/Install 5th Speed Synchronizer Sleeve And Shift Fork:
Remove 5th Speed Gear And Synchronizer With Struts:
Install 5th Speed Synchronizer With Struts:
Intermediate Shaft 5th Speed Gear:
Holding Transaxle To Remove/Install Nut:
Remove/Install Input Shaft 5th Speed Gear Nut:
CAUTION: Tool 6252 must be used to remove/install this nut. Always install a new nut and torque to 258 Nm (190 ft. lbs.).
Bearing Support Plate Bolts:
CAUTION: Do not damage bearing support plate.
Pry Off Bearing Support Plate:
Remove/Install Snap Ring:
Tap Bearing Retainer Plate To Remove:
Bearing Retainer Plate - Removed:
5th Speed Shifter Guide Pin:
1st-2nd Shift Fork Set Screw:
Remove/Install Shift Fork Rail:
Remove/Install Reverse Idler Gear Shaft And Gear:
Reverse Idler Gear Shaft And Plastic Stop:
Remove/Install Gear Set:

Remove Retaining E-Clip:
