10C Checking In-Tank Fuel Pump
1. With diagnostic read-out tool connected to engine test connector, place ignition switch in the Run position.
2. Depress diagnostic read-out tool ATM button and check for in-tank fuel pump noise at rear of vehicle.
3. If fuel pump is operating, check for restrictions in fuel supply lines and hoses between fuel tank and throttle body. Also check for plugged fuel filter or plugged intake fuel strainer.
4. If fuel pump is not operating, proceed to step D.
