17B Auto Shutdown Relay

1. Place ignition switch in Off position.
2. Disconnect power module 12 way electrical connector.
3. Place ignition switch in Run position.
4. Connect a voltmeter between terminal No. 5 power module 12 way electrical connector and ground.
5. If voltmeter reading is within 1 volt of battery voltage, check conditioning of terminal No. 12 of power module 12 way connector. Also check wiring from terminal No. 5 of electrical connector for an open or short circuit.
6. If voltmeter indicates between 0 to 1 volt, replace power module.
