7C Ignition System Primary Circuit

1. Place ignition switch in off position, then disconnect power module 10 way electrical connector.
2. Connect an ohmmeter between ignition coil negative terminal and terminal No. 1 of power module 10 way electrical connector.
3. If ohmmeter indicated continuity, replace power module.

CAUTION: Before replacing the power module check the terminal in cavity No. 1 of the 10-way connector to make sure that it is not spread apart causing a poor connection.

4. If ohmmeter does not indicate continuity, check wiring from terminal No. 1 of power module 10 terminal connector for an open circuit.
