Output Diagnostic Test Mode (Circuit Actuation Tests)

1. Place system in diagnostic test mode and wait for code 55 to appear on display screen.
2. Press ATM button on tool to activate display. A specific ATM test can be called by holding down ATM button until desired code appears.

The computer will continue to turn selected circuit on and off for up to 5 minutes or until ATM is pressed again or if ignition switch is turned off.

Actuator Test Display Codes

Code Description
01 - Spark Activation - Once every 2 seconds.
02 - Injector Activation - Once every 2 seconds.
03 - AIS Activation - One pulse open/one pulse closed every 4 seconds.
04 - Radiator Fan Activation - One pulse every 2 seconds.
05 - A/C Cutout Relay Activation - One pulse every 2 seconds.
06 - ASD Relay Activation - One toggle every 2 seconds.
07 - EGR/Purge Solenoid Activation - One toggle every 2 seconds.
08 - EGR Solenoid Activation (1985-86) - One toggle every 2 seconds.
- Speed Control Vacuum And Vent Solenoid Activation (1987-89) - Once every 2 seconds.
09 - Wastegate Solenoid Activation - One toggle every 2 seconds.
10 - Barometric Read Solenoid Activation - One toggle every 2 seconds.
11 - Alternator Full Field Activation (1986-89) - One toggle every 2 seconds.
