Powertrain Management: Tools and Equipment

Before attempting to use the Test Procedures, familiarize yourself with the engine compartment wiring diagrams and make sure you have the following equipment:

1. Volt/ohmmeter.
2. Jumper wires.
3. Auxiliary vacuum supply (hand held vacuum pump).
4. Fuel pressure gauge.
5. Tachometer.
6. Timing light.
7. Oscilloscope.
8. Vacuum gauge.
9. Propane kit.
10. Tool C-4805 Diagnostic Readout Box.
