Fuel Filter: Service and Repair

REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. The fuel system in under constant pressure, and must be released prior to service. Service and Repair

2. Remove filter mounting screw, and remove filter assembly from frame rail.
3. Loosen inlet and outlet hose clamps. Use an appropriate shop towel to absorb any leakage, and remove hoses. Discard used clamps.
4. Install filter on hoses with new clamps, and torque to 1 Nm (10 lb-in).
5. Install fuel filter on frame rail. Pressurize fuel system and check for leaks. Fuel System Leak Test
